Baluchistan Wheels Limited was setup in 1980 for the  manufacturing of steel wheels for the automobiles with technical collaboration with GKN SANKEY LIMITED U.K. The Company is located 35 kilometers from Karachi in HUB industrial zone. It has covered area of 13000 square meters built on a land of 97000 square meters. Diverse range of wheels for passenger cars, commercial vehicles, agricultural tractors and 4x4 are manufactured for OEM's. The Company is a corresponding member of (ETRO) and its quality system is certified for ISO-9002 by AIB Vincotte of Belgium.

Customer satisfaction is our main focus and it is the aim of every member of our work force. The quality management system was improved and certified for ISO-9002 in Jan' 1998. Quality is maintained and checked from incoming material to every stage of manufacturing by precision inspection gauges and an online automatic runout gagging station. quality assurance system is backed by a laboratory equipped with tensile testing, hardness testing, metallographic and chemical testing equipment. For rum-out checking BWL has an online automatic wheel gaging and low point marking station, so that the quality delivered to customers is 100% assured.

Baluchistan Wheels Limited is the original equipment supplier of wheels and is associated with the world renowned OEM's. BWL is also exporting wheels to countries in Asia and Europe.
 

The Plant is well equipped with highly sophisticated facilities comprising of the material prepration line, heavy and light dutyrim line having presses upto 1500-ton capacity, an assembly and welding line with CO2 and submerged arc welding machines. The manufacturing setup is complemented by one conveyorised paint shop with seven stage pre-treatment system and the second one comprises of the most modern cathodic Elctro Deposition painting process using the lated version paints of Kansai Paint Co. Japan. Specialised facilities of pickling and oiling shot blasing tool and die making, reparing and quality testing / inspection alsi exist.

The Plant is also equipped with the state-of-the-art flow forming machine for the production of commercial vehicle wheels rims. This process uses flat strips instead of conventionally used section material, which improves the sturctural strenght of the rim.

A constant need to come with newer and better modes of production has been the hallmark of BWL corporate philosphy. The R&D department is engaged in devlopment of new products, improvement and upgrading of processes. This department is equipped with CAD/CAM facilities and CNC machines for in-house manufacturing of tooling & spare. BWL has the abaility to develop wheels to specific requirement of the customers.
